Getting Started With CustomDonations
Custom Donations allows you to easily embed custom giving forms into your existing website. Before you get started, there are two requirements:
A Stripe account: Stripe is the online credit card processor that Custom Donations is designed to work with, simplifying both receiving credit card payments from your generous donors and getting those gifts into your bank accounts. Nonprofits may qualify for special rates on processing fees, so be sure to check with Stripe about that.
An SSL Certificate: To accept online donations, your site must support the HTTPS protocol. This provides the security that puts your donors at ease. If you don't have a secure website, we can host a branded giving page for you.
Once you have your Stripe account and SSL certificate you can start taking donations on your own website in these three simple steps:

In-person Transactions
Our software has always unified typically disparate payment systems -- such as your call center, mobile app, and text message payments. In early 2020, we launched an integration with one of the most technologically advanced payment systems on the market.
Using any device connected to the same WiFi as the card reader, such as a laptop, desktop, tablet, or phone, you can securely process an in-person payment.
There are no apps. No custom software. Nothing special needed! Simply leverage a Custom Donations giving form that is embedded in your website. You control everything from the fields of info to collect from the donors to the customized receipting. As with all of our forms, you can allow donors to cover 100% of transaction fees.
